Presentations:

Angel Alert"Angel" means "messenger" and this presentation is an excellent way to share the Christmas story with kids of all ages. Written by Celeste Clydesdale, this presentation takes place in Heaven. The puppets are made up of angels! In fact, they are all waiting to be told when they get to go to earth and make the grand announcement. As they wait for the call, they review God's faithfulness through His promises and some of the prophecies about our Savior's birth. THIS PRESENTATION IS SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES and is approximately 35 minutes.

"THINK" Before You Start (A secular anti-smoking presentation elementary age children) This education program is suited for elementary through middle school children. During the progression of the story, Sage, is persuaded by her peers to try a cigarette. She soon discovers that she is addicted", which affects her ability to be the track athlete she wants to be. A grant from the American Lung Association has made this presentation possible. It has been presented in local public and parocial schools, children's health events, Police Night Out, and area children's educational programs (hospitals). Following the presentations, MANY handouts are given to the audiance.

  READ ACROSS AMERICA"-45 minutes This presentation uses books and a Tigger character (in front of the stage) to introduce children to the fun that reading can be. Through songs and narratives, the puppets teach the children that reading can: Be FUN Take us to FARAWAY PLACES Allows us to use our imagination through FANTASY Can introduce us to a FRIEND Show us how we can be FOOLISH

It is age appropriate for preschool, day care centers, and early elementary.

The World of Art(a secular presentation)This presentation was written for a specific art program which featured the following 4 artists the students had studied during the year:

It is an education presentation with many facts being shared by the puppet artists about themselves. It is suitable for elementary and middle school.

Coal Mining(a secular presentation) 30 minutesThe story of coal mining and Shamokin are introduced in this narrative. Using coal mining songs and narrations, the puppets introduce the audience to the facts about coal mining as related to the Shamokin area.

Appropriate for all ages.

Mother's Day"Thank You God for Mother's "- 45 minutes

"Mother's DayA tribute to mothers of all ages is presented in this religious program. The puppets help the audience appreciate the gift of their mothers whom God has given to them. Personal testimonies are shared and praise songs are presented before and after the tribute to mothers. All ages.

Father's Day"Thank You God for Fathers "- 45 minutes

A tribute to fathers of all ages is present in this religious program. The puppets help the audience appreciate the gift of their fathers whom God has given to them. Personal testimonies are shared and praise songs are presented before and after the tribute to fathers.

Birthdays

"We Want God in America"-(Patriotic)40 minutes. A patriotic presentation using puppets, dowel rods, and many patriotic props to present the message that America needs God. There is a tribute to each military branch, as well as, the "Stars-Spangled Banner". The presentation is appropriate for any Patriotic ceremony or service, Veterans Hospitals, Scouting event, or military event. All ages.

Happy Birthday Jesus (Christmas)"A Savior Is Born"- 45 minutes Through the use of lively songs and narration, the Christmas story comes alive again. The Cross Stix team also presents in front of the stage, their interpretation of several Christmas songs. Appropriate for all ages and the Christmas season.

New Again"-(Easter)45 minutes In this dramatic presentation the puppets and cross stick team shares the story from Mary's perspective of what the death Jesus was like. Through props, puppets and sound effects the story is presented and concludes with the power presentation of "ARISE MY LOVE". Appropriate for all ages and the Easter season.Abraham (a man of faith)

"Donkey Tales" - (Easter) Approx. 30 minutes. This ia another Easter program that goes on to explain how a donkey was instrumental in bringing Jesus to Jerusalem that final week. How riding a donkey represented peace. The story takes place on a Tex's Donkey Dude Ranch, with children talking among themselves about the connection of the donkey with Jesus.

"Abraham- "A Man of Faith"-45 minutes The puppet narrative was written for a winter VBS experience and shares through the dramatic presentation of God's voice, sound effects, and lighting the story of Abraham. It is scriptural and presents Abraham's story as told in the Old Testament. Appropriate for all ages and most effective in a dark sanctuary because of backlight puppetry and colored lights. However, it can be used in any setting.

"NOAH- A Righteous Man"-45 minutes This Old Testament narrative shares the story of Noah and his family. It was written as the culmination of a winter VBS and uses sound effects, lighting, and God's voice. Appropriate for all ages and most effective in a dark sanctuary because of backlight puppetry and colored lights. However, it can be used in any setting.

God Wants You(a story about God's Team and how everyone is important to God)"The 10 Commandments"-35 minutes This lively presentation shares the story of Moses and how God gave the 10 commandments to the Israelites. Through the presentation, the audience also learns how God wants us to give ourselves to Him, because none of us are perfect. None of us can keep the 10 commandments, but when our hearts are turned to Jesus, he helps us to be all he created us to be. Appropriate for all ages and denominations.

The Kingdom Kids have done birthday parties written especially for the child, using information given to us by the parents.

Other programs have been written for various VBS & Block Party settings which individual churches have requested.
